DEFINITIONS

“MTV Tour” refers to Madagascar Treasure Visit Tour and its associated staff, affiliates, and partners. “Client” means the individual(s) booking a tour with MTV Tour, who agree to these Terms & Conditions, governed by Malagasy law, upon booking confirmation.

BOOKING PROCESS

A booking is confirmed once MTV Tour issues written confirmation. Any special requests must be submitted in writing. MTV Tour’s obligations are specified in the confirmed itinerary and invoice.

PAYEMENTS

A 30% deposit is required to secure a booking. The remaining balance is due 30 days before departure. Late payments may result in cancellation and forfeiture of the deposit. Bookings made within 30 days of departure require full payment upfront. All bank charges are the client’s responsibility.

BOOKING AMENDMENTS

Amendments to bookings are subject to a $50 handling fee per change, in addition to any third-party charges.

CANCELLATIONS BY CLIENTS

All cancellations must be submitted in writing. Charges apply as follows: 

– More than 60 days before departure: deposit forfeited 

– 60–42 days: 45% of total cost 

– 41–28 days: 60% of total cost 

– 27–8 days: 90% of total cost 

– Less than 7 days: 100% of total cost

CANCELLATIONS BY MTV TOUR

MTV Tour reserves the right to cancel if minimum group size is not met. In this case, clients may receive a full refund or reschedule. MTV Tour is not liable for cancellations caused by force majeure; credits or rescheduling may be offered at MTV Tour’s discretion.

TRAVEL INSURRANCE

Clients must obtain comprehensive travel insurance covering cancellation, emergencies, and baggage.

PASSPORTS, VISA & HEALTH

Clients are responsible for arranging valid passports, visas, and required vaccinations.

ACCOMMODATION & TRANSPORTATION

Standard accommodation is double occupancy with a private bathroom. If unavailable, a comparable alternative will be provided. Transportation includes 4WDs, minibuses, and flights, as outlined in the itinerary.

BAGGAGE

Baggage is limited to one soft bag (max 15kg) and one daypack per client. Clients are responsible for their belongings.

TOUR AUTHORITY

Tour guides have final authority during the trip. Clients must comply with local laws and customs.

PHOTOGRAPHY

Photos taken during the tour may be used for marketing purposes unless the client opts out in writing.

DATA PROTECTION

MTV Tour collects personal data solely for operational purposes. Data management complies with GDPR guidelines. Clients may request to access or delete their data at any time.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

MTV Tour is not liable for injury, loss, or damage resulting from client negligence, third-party actions, or force majeure events.

GOVERNING LAW

These terms are governed by Malagasy law. Any disputes fall under the jurisdiction of Antananarivo courts.
